VIET WANDER HOUSE is an adorable story about Teo (40), a single vietnamese father, who lives in Warsaw and his half-polish daughter Mia (10). They never speak about the early death of the mother but keep it inside themselves. Mia notices her father’s absentmindedness but doesn’t know why. Teo is an ambitious chef in a Vietnamese restaurant of his good friend Hien (60). After Hien decides to go back to Vietnam, Teo starts longing for his old homeland as well. While the restaurant becomes a popular Asian fusion restaurant, Teo feels more and more unwell and humiliated in this impersonal place. One day Mia discovers a beautiful woman Kasia (30) living opposite their apartment. Kasia resembles of her mother and Mia starts believing that she is the reason for Teo’s recent change and observes her with binoculars. After Kasia tells Teo about his daughter observing her, he harshly confronts Mia. This confrontation reveals unexpected honesty about their opposite needs and desires…
